Research On Factors Affecting Urbanization Intention Of Rural Residents In Chang-Zhu-Tan Region

Urbanization is an important measure to absorb the rural population in the settlement of the town,but also a major task of urban and rural development.However,the urbanization is not just a monologue of government,as important participants of the urbanization,The wishes of rural residents should be pay serious attention.Which factors will affect the urbanization intention of rural residents and how these factors work have become the focus of government and scholars.Under the background,this paper has been expected that not only brings supplement and innovation to theoretical research of urbanization research,but also explore a efficient path to improve the urbanization intention of rural residents,instructing policy formulation and system reform of urbanization.Undoubtedly,intention is identified as an important predictor of behavior.In behavioral research,Planned behavior theory is one of the most powerful models to study behavioral intention.Based on the study of planning behavior theory,this paper constructs a model of urbanization intention of rural residents,putting forward five hypotheses.In order to verify the hypothesis of relationship between demographic characteristics,urbanization Attitudes,subjective norms,perceived behavior control,household registrater system and rural residents' urbanization intention,this paper applied reliability analysis,factor analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis of 231 valid questionnaires collected in Chang-Zhu-Tan area by means of SPSS20.0 data analysis software.The results show that the overall intention of rural residents urbanization in Chang-Zhu-Tan is high.There is a relationship between education,age,occupation,the number of migrant workers in a family and the urbanization intention of rural residents.However,gender and the urbanization intention of rural residents has been turned out irrelevant.Urbanization attitudes,subjective norms,perceived behavior control,household registrater system have a significant positive impact on the urbanization intention of rural residents.The regression equation is:Urbanization Intention = 0.258*Urbanization Attitude +0.241*Subjective Norms + 0.150*Perceived Behavior Control + 0.376*Household Registrater System.We can see that the factors which impact rural residents'urbanization intention from large to small sequencing is followed by household registrater system,urbanization attitudes,subjective norms and perceived behavior control.Finally,the article conclude the results of empirical research.In view of the above,we propose suggestions to improve urbanization intention of rural residents,expecting to improve the satisfaction and enthusiasm of rural residents to promote the process of urbanization steadily.
