Poverty is mainly a rural problem.Majority of world's poverty exist in rural areas for decades.There are 70 percent of poverty population lives on less than $ 1.25 a day,nearly 1 billion person live in rural areas.Other statistics indicate that three of four poor people in developing countries live in rural areas.This paper attempts to shed light on the problem of poverty in rural areas of Islamic countries and related issues,and the role of microfinance within the framework of Islamic finance in reducing poverty in these countries.As well as emphasize on the critical obstacles to rural finance and methods to resolve them,meanwhile explain the successful international experiences in this regard.This research focus on microfinance,its characteristics and the criteria used in comparison with others,it aims to shed light on the marginalization of the exporter,which is the source of the circulation and its development and growth in an attempt to reach some of the appropriate conditions for it.This study draw attention to microfinance system in rural areas,as well as non-reliance on non-Islamic finance sources,and the introduction of new bank financing formulas with small-scale equivalents on an unconventional basis.This study also dealt with the definition of Islamic finance and Islamic financing sources and sources and its contribution to combating poverty in rural areas.This study focused on comparing the traditional microfinance and Islamic finance.This study proposed a strategy for poverty alleviation in rural areas with Islamic finance.We attempt to solve these problems facing microfinance and address the appropriateness of savings in microfinance meanwhile combating poverty which dealt with research Islamic strategy to raise the level of savings and collaborative funding sources.
