Equity incentives,as an incentive system,are widely used by listed companies all over the world and have been widely recognized.Our country's research in this area is only at the initial stage,and research abroad in this area is very advanced.Equity incentives are seen as the best way to solve the principal-agent problem in the current stage.On the one hand,they can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the corporate staff,and on the other hand,they can achieve better corporate goals.This article uses the case analysis method to study the impact of equity incentives on corporate performance,combined with Qingdao Haier's case analysis.Qingdao Haier has implemented four equity incentive plans from 2009 to the present.Overall,the implementation is relatively successful.The company is very good both financially and non-financially.The market responds sensitively,and it also has obvious upward direction.Trends have a positive impact on corporate performance.An important reason for choosing Qingdao Haier as a research object is that Qingdao Haier,as the leading brand of home appliance industry,can be said to be a household name.Their products are sold to every comer of the world and have a strong influence.IN addition,Qingdao Haier is one of the earliest companies in China to implement equity incentives.It conducts research on it and sums up experiences and lessons learned.It is a good warning and reference for other household appliance companies to implement equity incentive plans in the future.This article is divided into 8 parts.The first part is the introduction,introduces the research background,Purpose and significance of stock incentives,and reviews the research status at home and abroad.At the same time,it points out the research methods used in the article,points out the innovation of the article,and makes clear the main line of the article research.The second part mainly introduces the related concept and basic theory of equity incentive,defines several elements of equity incentive plan,solidly studies the theoretical basis of the object,and enriches the content of the article.The third part introduced the case of Qingdao Haier,including both the introduction of the company's background and the motivation of Qingdao Haier's implementation of equity incentives.There are three main motivators.Finally,this part also elaborates on the main contents and implementation of Qingdao Haier's equity incentive.The fourth part mainly analyzes Qingdao Haier's case from the perspective of financial angle,economic value added and non-financial angle.The financial analysis mainly selects comparatively representative financial indicators for analysis from the aspects of profitability,debt repayment ability,operational ability,development ability,and comparison with Hisense Electric in the same industry.Economic value added as an independent part of the analysis process to improve the article.The analysis of non-financial indicators mainly includes four aspects:market response,turnover rate,market share,and core competitiveness.The fifth part evaluates the case of Qingdao Haier and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of Qingdao Haier in setting and implementing the equity incentive plan.The sixth part proposes improvement suggestions for the defects in Qingdao Haier's implementation of equity incentive plans.The seventh part comprehensively evaluates the Qingdao Haier equity incentive plan,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages,and gives some inspiration to other companies in the same industry.The last part concludes the full text and summarizes the deficiencies of the article.
