In the development of financial institutions, the most important thing that cannot be ignored is credit risk management. The credit risk measurement models and credit risk management systems of some large international financial institutions are relatively complete.Compared with them,China's financial institutions and commercial banks still need to improve on credit risk measurement and management. As China's economy has entered a new normal, the new economic situation will inevitably bring about new opportunities and challenges for China's commercial banks. For example: The number of non-performing assets will increase substantially, the living space will continue to be squeezed, and the regulatory environment will become more stringent. All these require Chinese commercial banks to constantly improve their own credit risk management. This article studies the situation of China's G Bank X branch's credit risk management based on relevant theories of financial risk management, makes a careful analysis of the current status of credit risk of X Bank G Bank, analyzes the reasons for its credit risk, and then uses the KMV model to measure The customers of 9 listed companies in X-branches and compared the results of X-branch's internal rating with this result, and discovered the problems in G-Bank X branch's credit risk management and internal rating.we put forward the following suggestions for the prevention and control of credit risk management in X-branch: the management of post-lending risks, and the disposal of non-performing assets.the second is to train credit risk management professionals and improve the human resources system;third is the need to establish a credit risk management organization system for the X branch and its grassroots banks.we found that this model can very well strengthen the G-Bank X branch's credit risk management capabilities.
