As the German government officially launched "4.0" industrial strategy at the Hanover Fair,which brings about a worldwide industrial technology innovation,cloud computing,robot,intelligent factory,internet of things,AR,VR and a series of new science and technology became industrial 4.0 products.In the industry 4.0 context,the capacity of manufacturing technology and the number of self-owned brands determine the strength of international comprehensive competitiveness.However,equipment manufacturing industry is the core of manufacturing industry,its technological innovation ability directly influences the development of equipment manufacturing enterprises.These problems about low production efficiency,resource wasting and environmental pollution that are urgent problems to be solved of traditional equipment industry,thus enlarging investment in research and development of technology innovation,cultivating talents and creating a good environment for innovation,which has a great significance to the development of China equipment manufacturing industry in the industry 4.0 context.In this paper,by analyzing manufacturing industry,present situation and existing problems about technological innovative ability of equipment manufacturing industry in China.And selecting 16 indexes from four aspects:foundation capability technology innovation,investment ability of technology innovation,output capacity of technology innovation and innovation environment,to build a evaluating index system of technological innovative ability of equipment manufacturing industry in the industry 4.0 context.Then collecting data from 2009 to 2015 to make empirical analysis and comprehensive evaluation about China equipment manufacturing industry in technological innovation ability.The paper used factor method and principal component analysis(pca),and gets five main factors:early input factor of technology innovation t,internal environment supporting factor of technological innovation,external environment supporting factor of technological innovation,output factor of technological innovation and resource input factor of technology innovation.After applying a comprehensive model operation,the paper got comprehensive scores and rankings of equipment manufacturing industries,followed by communication equipment,computers and other electronic equipment manufacturing,instruments and meters,and culture,office machinery manufacturing,electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing,transportation equipment manufacturing industry,special equipment manufacturing,general equipment manufacturing,fabricated metal products.Therefore,according to the results of empirical analysis,we should increase investment in independent innovation capacity at the enterprise level,cultivate independent independent brands,and strengthen the main construction of large and medium-sized enterprises.At the industry level,we should construct the innovation alliance of key industries of equipment manufacturing,and create a good technological innovation environment.At the government level,we should strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights,give full play to the government's policy orientation and promoting role,and establish a diversified investment pattern.
