The equipment manufacturing industry is the general term of those enterpriseswhich supplying technical equipment for the national economy and national security.It is the basic, strategic industry for national economy and national defenseconstruction to provide technology and equipment, and which is not only the corecomponent of the manufacturing sector, but also an important foundation for thedevelopment of new industrialization conditions.One of the most important indicators to measure the level of development ofequipment is the industrial innovation capability, the more innovation and strongerindustry has the higher competitiveness and development potential. With theequipment manufacturing industry is becoming one of the pillar industries in HuNan,This industry innovation ability has direct impact on the level of industrializationlever of HuNan province. However, the innovative research of the equipmentmanufacturing industry is still fragmentary, which is not to form an overall analyticalframework.So far, this article select the perspective of industrial innovation capacity, andcollecting the relevant data of the mainland of China’s28provinces (2008-2010) andcities outside of Xinjiang, Xizang and Qinghai Province, Using factor analysis and thegolden ratio segmentation method to empirical research the side of the level ofdevelopment and the development trend of the equipment manufacturing industry inHunan Province. The result of this study is that the innovation capacity of theequipment manufacturing industry in Hunan Province is upper level in the country.And detail analysis of the mechanism of the impact of the innovation capability of theequipment manufacturing industry in Hunan Province. Ultimately to enhance theinnovation capability of the manufacturing industry of Hunan Provincecountermeasures recommended.The full text is divided into seven parts. The first chapter included theintroduction, description of the background and significance, and the whole idea tosummarize the article, the structural framework and research methodology. Thesecond chapter had the review of the related theory of industrial innovation, equipment manufacturing, and articles needed to define the meaning. The thirdchapter included the innovation and status quo of the equipment manufacturingindustry of Hunan Province, and analysis the equipment manufacturing industryinnovation development status and the problems. Chapter IV is mainly aboutevaluating the innovation capability of the equipment manufacturing industry ofHunan Province, through Data collection, using of factor analysis and the goldensection method to calculate the score of the equipment manufacturing industry ofHunan Province innovation indicators and locating the status the country. The Vchapter explained the results of empirical research to determine the mechanism of theinnovation capability of the equipment manufacturing industry in Hunan Province,and analysis the advantages and disadvantages of HuNan province. Chapter VItargeted strategies and recommendations based on the actual situation of theequipment manufacturing industry of Hunan Province. Finally, reviewed andsummarized the whole paper.As using factor analysis to quantitative evaluation of the innovation capacity ofthe equipment manufacturing of all provinces, and using the golden section method onthe basis of factor analysis to test and verify the innovation capability of theequipment manufacturing industry for the further validation, which is the maininnovation point of this paper, which Strengthened the reliability of the empiricalresearch. Finally, the reasonable and feasible policies recommendations had providedwhich had strong practical significance.
