Abstract:The effect of knowledge transfer between stakeholders in collaborative innovation projects is closely related to project outcomes,and the acquisition of knowledge is even a major requirement for some stakeholders in the project.Clearing the mechanism and effectively improving the effect of knowledge transfer have become a key issue in project management and governance.However,the current research on knowledge transfer focuses mainly on industrial clusters,internal enterprises,etc.,but less on project.Collaborative innovation projects are one-time,temporary and have knowledge diversification,which make them different from enterprises.Therefore,the knowledge transfer process under the project context is also significantly different from the existing research.The use of simulation methods can clarify the internal mechanism of knowledge transfer,and the interaction of each variable on the effect of knowledge transfer,so this paper focuses on the analysis and simulation of the knowledge transfer process in collaborative innovation projects.The network composed of knowledge subjects and relationships is the carrier of knowledge transfer.The network provides the possibility to study the process of knowledge transfer from the perspective of the project as a whole.The typical knowledge transfer network research mainly uses classic complexes network model such as scale-free network and small-world network to generate knowledge network.However,the question of whether these network models are suitable for project has not been solved yet.Therefore,this paper established collaborative innovation project knowledge transfer networks by drawing lessons from and adjusting the network construction methods that can effectively describe the reality.Specifically,knowledge transfer activities are more likely to occur between nodes who are responsible for the same work or that need to be handed over.Nodes can be identified through the Responsibility Allocation Matrix and the Expert Interview Method,and the relationships between nodes can be identified using the Project Network Diagram.After the classification of knowledge types,invited experts to determine the amount of node knowledge based on the node qualification level,took random numbers to reduce subjectivity,and determined the strength of the relationship based on job difficulty.The knowledge transfer network was determined by identifying and quantifying nodes and relationships.Combining the existing research and project characteristics,analyzed the knowledge transfer process between the two nodes in the collaborative innovation project,determined the influence factors in the process include variables such as knowledge difference,transfer motivation,knowledge receiver's capacity,relationship strength,and knowledge types,and proposed a quantitative formula.Then expanded it into an overall network.The evaluation index system of knowledge transfer efficiency was proposed,which includes the knowledge amount mean,knowledge dispersion degree and knowledge transfer speed index that can reflect the overall network,and the node knowledge incremental network map that can portray the knowledge transfer status of nodes.According to the knowledge transfer process and index,the algorithm structure and process were defined,the difficulties in the process of program compilation and the solution strategies were summarized,and the mechanism was converted into an algorithm program.The knowledge transfer process mechanism,evaluation index system,and algorithm structure and program together constitute the collaborative innovation project knowledge transfer process.Taking the typical collaborative innovation project of the ITRI as an example used the project knowledge and expert scoring method to construct the knowledge transfer network.Project data was extracted to assign variables,and the knowledge transfer process was simulated several times to summarize the characteristics.It shows that motivation,network structure,and knowledge viscosity affect the efficiency of knowledge transfer,and put forward operational management strategies from the perspectives of improving motivation and changing network structure.This paper analyzed and simulated the process of knowledge transfer in collaborative innovation projects,and proposed knowledge transfer network construction methods based on existing methods,which complements and improves existing research,and finally provided countermeasures for the improvement of knowledge transfer efficiency.Further studies are needed in entrance and exit mechanism and relationship construction rules on the knowledge transfer.
