The investigation provides a business entry model for a Mexican avocado distributor located in Uruapan,Mexico into the Chinese market,analyzing different variables alongside the capabilities of the company to present a viable strategy.I will present the threats that the company will have to face and how to take advantage of the opportunities,analyzing them to present results and a viable way to compete.For Mexican producers,it is of vital importance that avocado farmers start having a broader vision,most of the time they are short sighted by demand from the United States,this companies allocate between 79%and 87%to this market of their total external sales;But,If the trend and threats of President Trump shifting to a protective economy continues,shutting down the border and making it more and more difficult for Mexican products to go to their country,this is other reason for this thesis,diversify the allocation of avocado export to reduce dependency on U.S.A that a tariff rise or other treats,especially now that nafta is being negotiated could mean a devastating blow for a whole regionBut,why China?There are other countries in the world also growing in demand of avocado,it is a fact that demand for this super fruit is increasing.The short answer is that the pace of the demand growth from this side of the world is unmatched and of course population is always a big factor,in this case,decisive,market opportunity sound obvious,and tangible with an increasing middle class with an appetite for imported,new quality products,and trends.The reader will acquire practical and ground investigation alongside theoretical frameworks that give ground to the allegations in the final chapter,and finish with enough knowledge giving hope and vision for small producers to compete in a more challenging market making them ready for the next step of business.
