Performance management is the central content of human resource management,which also is one of important segments for a enterprise to guarantee its execution andachieve its expected strategic objectives. With the application of electric powerautomation technology, electric power automation industry is encountering many newopportunities, while with the development of new technology and the increasinglystrong market competition, it is also facing new challenges. In order to win in marketcompetition and achieve a long-term development, one enterprise needs to rely onindependent research and development ability and strong marketing ability, but whatis more important is that the company must strengthen internal management,especially the performance management, which is one of important tools forcultivating competitive strength.In this paper, Beijing Devote Power Co., Ltd. is chosen as the research object.On the basis of researching the performance management theory and relatedperformance management tools, the author analyzes the performance managementcurrent situation of Beijing Devote Power Co., Ltd. by the research methods ofinterviewing and so on, their goodness's are the emphasis of the setting ofperformance aims and performance assistances besides the emphasis of performancemanagements of the staff. In the mean time?they have some problems?such as themanner of performance management is single, in the production and service sectorssimply use the piece-rate system for performance management, employees stressquantity but neglect quality and customer time in the working time. On the basis ofanalyzing the performance management current situation of this company, aiming atthe actual problems existing company, this paper is trying to offer a set ofperformance management methods by applying modern performance managementtools especially the key performance indicators and combining the current situation ofhuman resource development strategy and internal operation flow situation. Finally,this paper forecasts the plan implementation effect combining the actual situation ofthe company, and proposed the implementation of the measures such as effectivelyintegrated evaluation results with the incentive mechanism, continuously improve theperformance appraisal method to amend, continue to create an atmosphereperformance evaluation, and then proposed the program safeguards such as adjusting the organizational structure, establish a performance culture, do the basic work ofpost analysis and so on.
