Reasonable inventory management can promote the smooth operation and development of enterprises and make the company obtain better economic benefits.On the contrary,unreasonable inventory management will frequently appear material shortage or material surplus.When the material is redundant,it not only occupies a large amount of cash flow of the compa ny;when the material is short,it will lead to production execution suspension,customer delivery delay,and even lose orders,lose customers,lose the market,thus affecting the operation and development of the company.So we need to control the company' s inventory at a reasonable level,so that inventory becomes the cornerstone of the company's stable operation,not fetters.For example,the disorder of inventory management itself,the confusion of material coding,the inaccuracy of production plan and d emand plan,the large deviation of process BOM and the unclear division of responsibilities,etc.The results of these problems are material waste,cash flow occupation,customer delivery delay,quality instability and so on.Only through the optimization of inventory management,can we constantly expose the short board in the management in the lower inventory level.Semiconductor manufacturing requires higher materials,and low inventory management level seriously affects the continuous and stable operatio n of semiconductor manufacturing enterprises.In the manufacturing process of semiconductor products,a lot of chemical materials will be used.These chemicals with difficult storage,short shelf life and high quality requirements will inevitably have problems such as expiration,scrapping and abnormal quality in the face of extensive inventory management,resulting in unnecessary waste and even loss of market opportunities.Domestic semiconductor production materials still have poor quality or unstable quality,so most of the raw and auxiliary materials will be imported from abroad.These high value and short shelf life raw materials,if poorly managed,will bring more problems and burdens to the company faster.Product renewal,material turnover also put forward higher requirements for inventory management.Based on semiconductor manufacturing enterprises,this paper analyzes the current inventory problems encountered by the company,finds out the main reasons,and then solves or reduces the risk of invento ry management by means of management process combing,basic data collation,MRP model application and replenishment strategy optimization.Finally,through the implementation of the optimization scheme,the initial completion of the company's raw and auxil iary materials inventory optimization objectives.
