Wireless sensor network(WSN)is a self-organizing network composed of a large number of small and low-cost sensor nodes.Sensor nodes are usually deployed to collect information about monitoring objects in harsh environment.Different from traditional wireless network, sensor nodes are powered by batteries,so the energy is limited and the energy update cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, optimizing the energy of WSN nodes and prolonging the network life have become the key issues in the research..Since most energy consumption of sensor nodes is concentrated in data communication,a well-designed routing algorithm is also an important way to improve energy efficiency and prolong network life. The research shows that cluster routing has great advantages in data transmission and energy utilization,so it has become a hot research issue of wireless sensor network routing technology. In order to better reduce and balance WSN network energy consumption, improve energy efficiency and extend network life, based on the analysis of existing uniform clustering routing algorithm, this paper proposes an improved WSN clustering routing algorithm by improving clustering structure and optimizing cluster head selection method. In this algorithm, the monitoring area is divided into clusters by means of cellular grid structure, and the optimal cluster head node is selected by TOPSIS method and entropy method combined optimization method, and the double-cluster head mechanism is adopted in the mesosphere grid to achieve the effect of balanced network energy consumption. Finally,an improved routing algorithm is proposed to realize multi-objective optimization in the stage of inter-cluster routing Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is more effective than other similar algorithms in reducing network energy consumption and prolonging network life.
