| Virtual Reality(VR)technology is a computer technology that enhances the user experience and immersion by simulating the environment.Thanks to the realistic experience and real-time interaction features,virtual reality technology is increasingly applied to our lives.In all professions of life,VR is gradually replacing the traditional 2D plane display form.With the development of VR technology,integrating it into existing technology has become an increasingly hot topic.Traditional 3D technology can bring stereoscopic vision to the user,but the content viewed by the user is fixed and users can only watch video content at a preset angle.In the application of VR technology to 3D-360° video formed by 3D video,VR technology can bring a 360° perspective to 3D video,and the 3D technology can also enhance the immersion of VR technology,thereby greatly improving user's experience.However,since the images in all directions need to be recorded at the same time when making a panoramic video,the video data itself is already large,and when 3D-360°video production is performed,a lens is added in each direction,and the video volume will still be redoubled,which puts tremendous pressure on encoding and transmission.Based on this problem,this thesis proposes a coding method for 3D-360° video transmission to reduce the video bit rates and reduce the transmission pressure.The main work of this thesis is listed as follows:First,it analyzes the strong correlation between the left and right eye images in the 3D-360° video,and analyzes the human eye's need for binocular video quality when imaging.On this basis,the left and right eye transmission strategy is proposed;Second,considering the characteristics of panoramic video in terms of viewpoint and projection,the video is divided into different areas,and a hierarchical transmission scheme of 3D-360° video is formulated according to the importance of different areas;third,a 3D-360°video adaptive transmission architecture is designed based on MPEG-DASH,and a video transmission system is also built;Fourth,the simulation of the hierarchical coding of the video proves that the algorithm of this thesis can effectively reduce the transmission bandwidth consumption of the 3D-360°video on the premise of ensuring the video quality of the view area compared with the non-graded coding scheme. |
