With the development of technologies such as big data,cloud computing,and Internet of Things in the past few years,information technology has played an increasingly important role in the industrial field.The Industrial Internet can interconnect various equipment,production lines,control platforms,and display platforms,and integrate information technology into each process of production,greatly improving production efficiency,reducing production costs,and thereby improving efficiency.However,the existing industrial Ethernet technologies are different in implementation,generally incompatible with each other,and unable to communicate with traditional IT networks.In order to adapt existing IT networks to meet the requirements of industrial scenarios,the IEEE TSN working group proposed time-sensitive network technology to support severe time performance,which is the core technology of future industrial networks.Although TSN has great research and application value,the lack of theoretical research and experiments on TSN testing technology brings some difficulties to the development and application of this technology.We introduced the origin,development status,and main standards of TSN,and carried out research on TSN test methods,including:(1)Through the analysis of the key standards of TSN and the investigation of related research,a test plan for three modules of time-sensitive networks is proposed,including test requirements,test systems,test features,test methods,and principles.This test solution can complete the TSN function verification and performance test of the device under test.(2)Based on OMNeT ++,we designed a clock module that can simulate errors to study the delay variation of the TAS(time-aware shaper)scheduling results.Simulation results show that TAS can significantly improve the transmission performance of key traffic under the background traffic interference,but the scheduling result will be affected by the accuracy of the local clock and the time synchronization accuracy,leading to an increase in delay,which will affect the test results.We propose a compensation method for GCL,which can greatly improve the scheduling results of TAS under poor time performance.(3)Test the IEEE 802.1 AS gPTP and IEEE 802.1 Qbv TAS to verify the feasibility of the time-sensitive network test solution.Put forward the functional test and performance test project of both,design the test method,and complete the actual test.
