With the rapid development of communication technology, the Internet of Things technology will play an increasingly important role in future communications.Among them, the mobile ad hoc network is an important branch in the research of the Internet of Things. The media access control layer protocol is responsible for implementing resource scheduling in the ad hoc network, and plays an important role in ensuring the system's throughput and latency. The hybrid access protocol has been widely used as a result of its combination of the high reusability from carrier sensing multiple access protocol and less retransmissions from time division multiple access. In terms of theoretical innovation, aiming at the problems of poor flexibility, unreasonable contention window setting and lack of reporting slots in hybrid access protocols in mobile ad hoc networks, this paper proposes a cross-slot access protocol based on node priority. In the protocol, priority is given to nodes with high load,so that they can access across slots, which improves the flexibility of the protocol.Meanwhile, slots with relatively low load are selected as accessible slots, which reduces the waste of slots under low load.Resetting the size of the contention window after slot switching reduces a lot of slot waste caused by the expansion of the contention window, and then improves the system throughput. The report slot is set to transmit information to the central node, which improves the feasibility of the protocol.Next,in order to verify the correctness of the protocol proposed,in the aspect of engineering innovation,a simulation platform focusing on ad hoc network hybrid media access control protocol is designed.Compared with the current media access control protocol simulation platform, the simulation platform considers the routing situation, the maximum delay and retransmission attributes of packets.Secondly, the simulation platform built in this paper can well meet the requirements of the scenarios in this paper, and adapt to different scenarios of multi hop, different load and mobile. The platform is easy to configure and has good interactivity. The proposed improved protocol can improve system throughput by reducing the time waste of backoff time slots and giving priority to high-load nodes at the expense of some retransmissions.
