Netted radar system(NRS)is a new radar system using networking technology to organize spatially dispersed radars with different types, frequency bands and parameters to work together.NRS has outstanding advantages like spatial multiplexing, spatial diversity, and system robustness reliability, etc.,which makes it a new trend in modern radar development. However, due to the limited available resource and structural characteristics of NRS,target detection performance in this system is quite dependent on its resource allocation through the network.Resource management optimizes the system resource allocation to make full use of the system potential, thereby improving target detection performance, and has become a research hotspot in the radar field today.Focusing on the problem of NRS resource management conducting during multitarget tracking, this thesis studied the network resource management strategies and optimization theory, and proposed some effective resource management algorithms. The main work is as follows:1.Aiming at the resource management problem of NRS,a generalized model of the resource management algorithm is established. Then some typical target tracking algorithms are introduced, and the posterior Cramér-Rao lower bound(PCRLB)is adopted as a measure of tracking accuracy. After that,a closed-loop resource management algorithm framework for target tracking in NRS is established. The simulations through power resource allocation under target tracking task verify the feasibility and correctness of the tracking system and the algorithm framework.2.For the node resource management problem of NRS under the distributed fusion structure,a node cost model is established by extracting the characteristic attributes of radar nodes and adopted as an optimization criterion.PCRLB with resource variables is derived as a tracking accuracy measure, and then a node selection algorithm is proposed under certain tracking accuracy requirements for each target.A heuristic algorithm based on target priority is proposed as a solution.Simulations verify that the algorithm is effective in reducing the node cost while ensuring desired tracking accuracy.3.For the node resource management problem of NRS under the hybrid fusion structure,a network cluster structure is designed for multiple target tracking, and a communication cost model is established by analyzing the factors affecting the communication performance. Then a network cost model is formed by combining the node cost and the communication cost model together as a system performance measure and optimization criterion.A node selection algorithm is proposed aiming at minimizing the total network cost while meeting certain tracking accuracy requirements, and a twostep method based on optimal partition and convex relaxation is proposed as the solotion. The node selection algorithm reduces the system cost while ensuring target tracking accuracy, and realizes flexible scheduling of node resources.Simulation experiments demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the abovementioned algorithms and solutions.
