Nowadays,the development of augmented reality(AR)technology and its applications is progressing by leaps and bounds,and the application field of augmented reality is gradually expanding,the development space of educational and auxiliary application system based on augmented reality is absolutely huge.The augmented reality technology with the combination of virtual and real and real-time interaction can expand the learning perspective and enable learners to visualize complex spatial relationships and abstract concepts.The application of augmented reality technology in the educational environment is highly developable,and the need for the use of augmented reality technology to assist curriculum teaching in the field of education is increasingly urgent.However,the development of augmented reality application system for teachers and students is relatively lacking,and the image registration algorithm of augmented reality has the problem of low registration rate and poor real-time..In view of the above problems,an improved augmented reality image registration method was proposed on the basis of in-depth study of traditional algorithms.Combined with the algorithm research,the overall framework design was carried out,and a educational and auxiliary application system of mechanical drawing based on Unity3 D is realized.First of all,this paper took the augmented reality technology and educational and auxiliary application as starting points and extensive consulted relevant domestic and foreign literature,then the development of augmented reality technology and AR-based educational and auxiliary applications was reviewed.In addition,on the basis of studying the traditional augmented reality image registration algorithm,an improved ORB image registration method was proposed,which has improved registration rate and real-time ability compared with other AR image registration algorithms,and solved the problem of low registration rate and poor real-time ability of ORB image registration algorithm.Then,the overall framework design of the educational and auxiliary application system of mechanical drawing was carried out,and the design of this application system was explained from the three aspects of system function module analysis,system architecture design and system simulation workflow.Finally,in combination of Unity3 D engine and optimization algorithm plug-in,this paper realized an educational and auxiliary application system of mechanical drawing.This application system is mainly for the primary and high school education stage,in order to further verify the feasibility,effectiveness and interactivity of the system,the user test of this system was carried out in a targeted manner,and the test results showed that the educational and auxiliary application system of mechanical drawing in this design could meet the user's application needs,and achieved good teaching results.
