At present,China's media industry is moving from a high-speed development stage to a high-quality development stage.Corporate performance is an important factor in evaluating high-quality development.In the process of obtaining high corporate performance,entrepreneurs play a very important role,which is also true for media companies.Therefore,from the perspective of media entrepreneurs 'social capital,this article attempts to analyze how media entrepreneurs can reasonably use the social capital they own and effectively transform them into resources for corporate development to better improve the performance of media companies.This article analyzes the mechanism of its impact on corporate performance from the perspective of social capital at the level of media entrepreneurs.Through the combination of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,it attempts to seek an effective way of performance to improve media enterprises from the perspective of entrepreneurial social capital in the context of the transformation and development of media companies.On the basis of analyzing and sorting out the relevant theoretical basis of entrepreneur social capital and literature research,combined with the current status of China's media industry and listed media companies,the media entrepreneur social capital is divided into dimensions,and a reasonable measurement method is selected.According to the three dimensions of media entrepreneurs 'social capital,as well as corporate-level and entrepreneur-level personalities,hypotheses related to corporate performance are proposed.In 2018,China 's media listed companies were selected as research samples to collect and organize corporate performance data and entrepreneurs of media listed companies in that year.Individual situation data,etc.,use empirical analysis methods to verify the correlation between media entrepreneurs 'social capital and corporate performance.Through empirical research,the following main conclusions are drawn: first,in general,the social capital of media entrepreneurs can promote the improvement of corporate performance and enhance corporate profitability;second,the horizontal relationship network of media entrepreneurs,that is,the relationship between entrepreneurs and related companies Connections have a significant positive effect on the improvement of corporate performance;third,the vertical relationship network of media entrepreneurs,that is,government-related resources owned by entrepreneurs,also have a positive correlation with corporate performance;fourth,the social relationship network of media entrepreneurs,that is,the use of social resources by entrepreneurs has limitations on the improvement of short-term profitability of enterprises;fifth,the structure of the enterprise and the personal characteristics of entrepreneurs also have a significant impact on enterprise performance.According to the conclusion of the study,analyze the reasons for its occurrence,and according to the characteristics of the media industry,put forward relevant suggestions from the level of media entrepreneurs,hoping to help improve the performance of media companies.
