Since the reform and opening up,remarkable achievements have been made in social and economic development,and more and more attention has been paid to environmental development.With the construction of resource-saving,environmentalfriendly social policy has been identified as a long-term development strategic task.How to improve the ability of environmental governance and achieve sustainable development has become an urgent problem to be solved.At present,environmental protection is a complex issue.How to make full use of the Internet of Things and embedded technology to complete the perception,processing and analysis of various environmental protection information requires continuous exploration and research applications.It is the inevitable trend of the development of the new era to solve the increasingly serious environmental problems by means of the emerging Internet of Things technology.The concept of smart environmental protection was born.Smart environmental protection is the use of Internet of Things technology,the traditional environmental protection work into information-based environmental protection work,to achieve a comprehensive perception of pollution,accurate management,effective prevention.With the rapid development of Internet of Things technology,in the field of smart environmental protection,a large number of environmental protection equipments will be connected to it,which will generate hundreds of millions of environmental protection data.Traditional cloud computing data processing mode is difficult to meet the needs of intelligent analysis,and a new technology of Internet of Things has been gradually concerned by people.Edge computing is a new technology in the development of the Internet of Things.Edge computing is proposed to relieve the pressure of data processing caused by hundreds of millions of Internet of Things devices.Edge computing technology has been applied in many fields.The application of edge computing technology in the field of environmental protection can accelerate the application of smart environmental protection industry and better promote environmental protection intellectualization.This paper mainly studies the application of edge computing technology in the field of smart environmental protection.Through a comprehensive study of the reference architecture model of edge computing and the architecture model of practical application,a framework of smart environmental protection Internet of Things based on edge computing is designed.On this basis,combined with the smart environmental protection project of Beijing Internet of Things Software and System Engineering Technology Research Center.Aiming at the specific requirements of the project,a software architecture of smart environmental protection oriented Internet of Things gateway is designed,and finally an edge intelligent gateway of Internet of Things oriented to smart environmental protection is realized.In hardware selection,Zynq-7000 series fully programmable SoC based on ARM+FPGA architecture is used as the main control chip,and Xilinx Vivado 2017.4 integrated development environment is used to complete the hardware system design.Operating system and BSP design use Xilinx PetaLinux 2017.4 tools to generate extensible Linux system,and realize the rapid construction of gateway application layer development environment.Xilinx SDK 2017.4 tool is used to develop the application software in the software system design.The smart environmental protection edge intelligent gateway is focused on the intelligent access of environmental protection equipment,the safe transmission of environmental protection data,and the rapid docking of environmental protection platform.Finally,the stability and reliability of smart environmental protection edge intelligent gateway are verified by testing in the actual project.The system evaluation results show that the intelligent edge gateway supports fast access to various types of environmental protection devices,AES encryption for environmental protection data transmission,and data reporting to multiple cloud platforms using 4G and NB networks.It has good scalability and fully verifies the correctness of the intelligent edge computing-based environment protection Internet of Things architecture.
