With the maturity and development of artificial intelligence,Internet of Things,big data and other technologies,the Internet has begun to enter the commercial field of traditional service industry,and the traditional service industry has gradually begun an Internet transformation movement.The hotel industry is a traditional high labor cost service industry.In recent years,the disappearance of the demographic dividend and the prosperity of tourism are also constantly stimulating the transformation and upgrading of the hotel industry.Focusing on the internal scene of the hotel,the guests mainly interact with the hotel through the front desk,so the front desk can be used as an entry point for the digital transformation and upgrading of the hotel.The hotel front desk mainly uses the hotel management system to complete the daily tasks of room management,order management and account processing.But at present,most of the information management systems in the market are computer-based,which limits the scope of work of the front desk and reduces the working experience of the front desk.The mobile end market of this kind of products is still in the initial stage of exploration,and products are mostly based on the iPad or mobile terminal,because of its device limitations,the frequency of use in the real environment is not high.In order to help the front desk to improve work efficiency and comfort,it is necessary to research and design the front desk information management system based on intelligent mobile POS.The subject of this paper comes from the project I participated in during my internship in Huazhu Hotel Group,and this paper will mainly explain the design process of a management system based on mobile intelligent POS equipment which is used by front desk.By studying the operation behavior and the business logic behind the three main working scenarios of hotel reception,check-in service,the functional operation of the order and check-out,and using the methods of user questionnaire and situational experience to mine the user needs of mobile hotel management system and determine the functional modules of the product.Then,according to the principles of mobile product design,the final product design is completed by using the methods of process design,interactive prototype design and visual design.Finally,the usability test is used to find the problems in product design and propose feasible solutions.This paper explores a new process of using intelligent mobile POS equipment to help hotel front desk to complete office tasks,which provides an effective method and reference for the design of similar mobile office products for hotel front desk.It is hoped that this product design activity can help the hotel front desk to provide relevant services to guests anytime and anywhere through mobile office equipment,thus shortening the service time and freeing the front desk from the restrictions of space and time on its work.The use of the product can improve the efficiency of the front desk work and ensure the good working experience of the front desk to help the hotel to better continue to develop.
