Self-disclosure refers to the act of leaking information about oneself to others,usually including personal information.The initial research focused on face-to-face self-disclosure in real life,and later transformed the development of the Internet.Changes,some traditional face-to-face communication methods.It was replaced by online media,so a new communication channel emerged-self-disclosure based on social media.The Uncertainty Reduction Theory of communication believes that the interpersonal communication process is often full of uncertainty,and it is precisely through the exchange of information that people reduce this uncertainty.Usually,during the initial encounter,both strangers try to obtain the corresponding information from each other to decide the next move.The exchange of information is usually accompanied by the occurrence of self-disclosure behavior,and interpersonal relationships are enhanced with self-disclosure and information sharing,but this enhancement is also subject to many factors,and this study is just for the purpose of research and discussion based on social media,Possible factors that lead to different levels of personal exposure.This research mainly selects several social media with strong links and weak links that are preset,WeChat,Weibo,Zhihu.After that,hypotheses are made on the factors that reduce the uncertainty of individuals and the differences that self-disclosure may show,and then the questionnaire survey is used to obtain the different states of the respondents based on personal exposure under different influencing factors,so as to analyze and verify Potential factors affecting personal disclosure.The results show that gender,identity equivalence,similarity,the phrase output of the other party and the degree of affection all affect the mutual trust between the two parties of the communication,so that the individual's self-disclosure tendency will be affected by changes in these factors.At the same time,changes in the communication context and the degree of trust of the communicator in the media also reveal serious changes to the individual's self.
