Direction-of-Arrival(DOA)estimation is an important research direction in the field of array signal processing.In recent years,the emerging matrix completion theory can reconstruct the recovery matrix with a high probability by a small amount of observation information,and provides new data processing methods and ideas for the field of DOA estimation.This paper first analyzes and summarizes the existing DOA estimation methods.In order to solve the problem of poor estimation performance of traditional DOA estimation methods,this paper introduces matrix completion technology and proposes three high-resolution DOA estimation methods based on matrix completion to effectively improve Estimated performance.The main work of this article is as follows:(1)A high-resolution DOA estimation method based on the failure of nested array elements based on matrix completion is proposed.Aiming at the problem that the continuity of the virtual array element will be broken when the sparse array element fails,this method uses the low rank of the covariance matrix,uses matrix completion technology to complete the missing data,and finally uses MUSIC search to realize the direction of arrival estimation.This method retains the advantage of large aperture of sparse array array and improves the performance of DOA estimation.(2)A high-resolution DOA estimation method based on matrix completion under impulsive noise is proposed.Aiming at the problems of low DOA estimation accuracy and low resolution under the influence of impulsive noise in the existing DOA estimation method,this method first removes outliers,and then introduces matrix completion technology to complete the matrix,thereby obtaining a denoised observation matrix.This method effectively suppresses the impact of impulsive noise on the signal,improves the accuracy of DOA estimation,and also improves the robustness of the entire array system.(3)A high-resolution two-dimensional DOA estimation method based on the sparse two parallel array is proposed.Aiming at the problem of poor estimation performance of the existing two-dimensional DOA estimation methods,this paper first gives an array model of a two parallel extended coprime array,and then proposes amatrix completion high-resolution DOA estimation method based on the two parallel extended coprime array.This method uses a sparse array,which has larger degree of freedom and higher resolution.This method avoids spectral peak search and reduces computational complexity,and also implements automatic angle pairing without the need for an additional pairing process.
