Traditional image sensors adopt the sampling methods of "frame scanning" and "multi-level quantization",which will produce a lot of data redundancy.It is very difficult to save and process data at high speed.Address-Event Representation Image Sensor based on bionic mechanism reduces data redundancy and reduces the amount of data.But it sacrifices data completeness.In this paper,a novel single-bit pulse pixel image sensor,Pulse Array Image Sensor,is applied.The sensor uses pulse interval representation combined with high-speed frame rate to compress data while maintaining high frame rate and complete data information.It is suitable for high-speed moving object recognition.In this paper,based on the help of the design chip,the sensor imaging system is constructed,and the chip function verification and data transmission processing are realized.Firstly,the working principle of the pixel of the pulse array image sensor is studied,and the corresponding digital timing circuit is designed for the pulse data synchronous readout structure,and the digital layout design is completed on the software platform of Design Compiler and Encounter.Secondly,a test system is built for the image sensor chip,and the function test of the chip is completed.On this basis,an imaging system including simulation of high-speed motion scene is designed,and high-speed pulse data acquisition and real-time display are completed.Finally,based on the analysis of the traditional motion detection algorithm,the optical flow vector is applied to the pulse data to realize the high-speed target motion detection based on this imaging system.The image sensor chip is fabricated by 0.11 ?m process.The test system results show that the digital timing circuit of the sensor chip and the pixel function are normal,and the maximum detectable light intensity of the pixel is 2800 lux.The imaging system achieves high-speed communication from the image sensor to the PC.The data bandwidth is 250MB/s.The non-destructive storage of pulse data and the real-time display of pulse accumulation are completed.The toy bullet can be captured at the main frequency of 10 MHz to 49m/s.Motion detection results show that the image sensor can effectively extract optical flow information and realize high-speed target motion detection in 2000 rpm high-speed turntable target scene.
