A Study On The Development Of Edgar Morin's Complexity Theory From Communication Perspective

Complexity thought is proposed by French philosopher and thinker Edgar Morin,which is based on cybernetics,information theory,general system theory and self-organization theory,and was regarded as a thinking paradigm guidance in many disciplines.This thesis attempts to analysis Morin's complexity theory system,connotation and development process from the perspective of communication,hoping to provide three levels of enlightenment for the discipline of communication: theoretical understanding,cognitive approach and paradigm innovation.In the research of Morin's complexity thought,this thesis puts its emphasis on the formation and development path of complexity philosophy,and Morin's literature in many discipline fields such as sociology,education,journalism and communication,especially in the field of journalism and communication.Secondly,this paper puts forward necessity and three main directions of communication theory reflection by understanding the concept of "complexity",combines with the construction process of communication theory with the important topics of current academic circles on the reflection of communication theory.At the same time,this thesis compares Morin's complexity theory with the mass communication model theory in three similar aspects: the historical background,the theoretical basis and the content research,and explains the guiding significance of Morin's complexity thought to the understanding of communication complexity.Finally,this thesis gives a basic interpretation of Moran's complexity ideological system by introducing Morin's life experience and academic process.In introducing Morin's complexity theory into communication,this paper combs Moran's criticism and development achievements on the theoretical basis of the three major communication theories of "information theory","control theory" and "system theory" from the perspective of communication,in order to expand our understanding of classical communication theory.Moreover,this thesis will refine Morin's complexity thoughts for the defects of classical science paradigm,and explain the reasons and limitations of the limitations of mass communication model theory from the level of theoretical designer's thought paradigm(linear communication model,interactive circulation model and social system communication),and propose integration of communication progress' s synchronic and diachronic observation,which can be as the theoretical research and development direction.Finally,through the introduction of Morin's complexity thought in this paper,hoping to provide us with a new perspective and enlightenment,deepen the understanding of Morin's complexity thought in the following study,and help us understand and interpret the communication system of uncertainty,interaction and complexity in Internet era.
