Wireless ad hoc networks have important applications in many areas,such as battlefield environment,temporary venue,field exploration and even underground mines and so on.The OLSR protocol is an important wireless ad hoc routing protocol that has become an international standard,but the initial design of the protocol is not considered as secure.In order to solve the security routing problem of OLSR protocol,some security enhancement methods have been proposed,but there are still some shortcomings in terms of the confidentiality and encryption efficiency of message transmission.Credible and reliable identity can effectively prevent man-in-the-middle attacks.It is the premise of secure communication between both parties and is also an important defense of system security.However,the nodes of wireless Ad Hoc network are weak in power supply,computing and storage,which leads to that the identity trusted mechanism in the traditional Internet such as digital certificate can not be well applied to wireless Ad Hoc networks.After analyzing the security of OLSR protocol,this paper proposes the use of identity-based signcryption to solve the problem of identity trust and message transmission in wireless ad hoc network routing protocols.Aiming at multiple existing identity-based signcryption mechanisms,they are compared and analyzed experimentally.Theoretical analysis shows that the CM scheme is more secure in terms of ciphertext-less connectivity and ciphertext anonymity.The experimental results show that the computational cost of the CM scheme is higher than that of the BLMQ algorithm,but superior to that of the Malone-Lee,LQ and CYHC algorithms.This scheme has the application value to the limited wireless network node.In this framework,this paper designed a secure OLSR protocol based on CM scheme-CMOLSR.The protocol uses identity-based signcryption to sign the routing protocol packets so that the source node of the routing packets can be authenticated and the contents of the packets can be stolen or tampered with.Compared with the classical SOLSR[53],this scheme has higher security strength and meets the basic requirements of the wireless ad hoc network security routing protocol.Specifically,for n nodes,its efficiency is improved by?3n-2??t over the SOLSR protocol,where ?t represents the average time for message transmission between nodes.Finally,this paper verifies the correctness of the design scheme of this article through experimental tests,and shows the advantages of this scheme in terms of safety and efficiency compared with other schemes.
