Research On The Local Shaping Of Tujia Girl's Town From The Perspective Of Spatial Communication

Since the very beginning of human civilization,communication and space have always been inseparable.The study of space communication not only attaches importance to the spatial dimension of communication practice but also emphasize on the local significance of space.Place is a space full of meaning.In the local research of folk tourism space,dual perspectives of "space practice" and "media place" in the study of spatial communication has important theoretical and practical significance.This thesis takes the folk culture tourism space-Tujia girl's town as the research object to examine how communication shapes the locality of folk tourism space in the theoretical perspective of space production and spatial communication research.Specifically,the thesis pays attention to the following two levels: First,how does the communication shape the locality of the entity,spirit and social interaction of Tunis girl's town? Second,what is the inspiration for the local shaping of folk tourism space?As regard to the research content,In the first part,by studying the landscape language,landscape path,and landscape narratives of Tujia girl's town,the thesis explores how landscape rhetoric has shaped the locality of the physical space of Tujia girl's town;Second,by studying the media's personal discourse,market discourse,official discourse,the thesis explores how the media discourse produces the locality of the daughter city's spiritual space;Third,based on the study of space interpersonal practice,it explores how interpersonal communication and interaction form the locality of Tujia girl's town's social space.The fourth part discusses the local shaping mechanism of folk tourism space.This study holds that from the theoretical perspective of spatial communication research,the local shaping of the Tujia girl's town stems from its landscape visual rhetoric,media discourse production,and interpersonal interaction.At the level of physical space,multiple landscape languages,semi-structured landscape paths,and visually dominated landscape narratives form the visual style and spatial grammar of the co-existence of the folk customs and modernity of Tujia girl's town.At thespiritual space level,the personal discourse,market discourse,and official discourse related to the girl's town have embodied the romantic significance,consumption significance,and development significance of the local space.At the social space level,through interpersonal interactions,Tujia girl's town is endowed with multiple values and meanings,giving birth to a sense of place in three dimensions: local dependence,local self,and local identity.In the local shaping of the folk tourism space,the problems of visual rhetoric abuse,unbalanced power of media discourse,and squeezing the sense of space should be paid attention to so as to form a benign mechanism for it.
