Boiler is an important energy equipment in thermal power generation,chemical industry,manufacturing,petroleum and other industrial sectors.The main steam temperature of the boiler is a crucial indicator to ensure the normal operation of the boiler and the stability of the main steam temperature will directly affect the safety and economy of industrial production.Due to the delay and inertia of the main steam temperature object,it is difficult to ensure the high-precision control requirements of the main steam temperature using ordinary PID control.A large number of previous studies are devoted to applying intelligent control to solve the delay and inertia problems in the main steam temperature control,which basically stays in the simulation stage,and few of them are applied in engineering practice.SMPT1000 is an experimental device developed by Siemens company,which is a combination of physical simulation device and digital simulation technology.It is used for boiler simulation experiment in laboratory.Therefore,the present study takes the boiler model in SMPT1000 as the controlled object,PCS7 as the process control device and collects the main steam temperature of the boiler in SMPT1000 through PCS7,outputting the temperature-reduced water flow signal.Additionally,MATLAB realizes fuzzy adaptive PID control and completes the control of the main steam temperature,realizing the data transmission between PCS7 and MATLAB with the help of OPC communication.In this paper,the dynamic characteristics of the main steam temperature are obtained by applying the stepwise experiment of the valve opening of the desuperheating water,and the transfer function of the main steam temperature is fitted by the Curve Fitting Tool toolbox in MATLAB.Based on this,the design of fuzzy adaptive PID control system is carried out and the simulation research is conducted on the basis of MATLAB,showing that fuzzy adaptive PID has better control effect than ordinary PID.Finally,theOPC communication experiment system between MATLAB and PCS7 was built,and the fuzzy control strategy configuration based on OPC communication was completed in MATLAB,and the main steam temperature control in SMPT1000 was completed through PCS7.The results of experiment show that the main steam temperature of fuzzy adaptive PID control can meet the industrial production.
