In the process of thermodynamic engineering in power plant, the main task in main steam temperature control is to control the super-heated steam temperature to some required range. The super-heated steam temperature object is a multi-container element. Its deadline time and time constant is relatively big. It has many disturbances. Its object model is not accurately confirmable. It is not easy to measure steam temperature in the super-heated implement. It is the most difficult control system in the thermodynamic automatic control system. According to the above features of super-heated temperature, a fuzzy controller is designed in this dissertation. A Fuzzy-PID composite controller is designed by the fully use of both the good dynamic characteristics of fuzzy control and eliminating static deviation of PID control. The simple transferable way of compound controller is fuzzy switching. The results of the simulation indicate that Fuzzy-PID composite controller have better qualities than general PID controller in the main steam temperature control system.
