As a self-organizing multi-hop wireless network,Wireless Mesh Network(WMN)has the characteristics of high capacity and high speed,which can well solve the problem of “last mile” broadband access and coverage of network blind spots.In this paper,the OLSR protocol in WMN is taken as the research object,and the multi-RF multi-channel is taken as the research direction.The problem of WMN throughput optimization is studied,and the following work is carried out.The WMN architecture mode is studied,and the WMN is compared with other wireless networks to obtain the characteristics of some WMNs,and the application scenarios of WMN are introduced.Furthermore,the advantages and challenges of WMN under multi-radio multi-channel are introduced.The multi-radio multi-channel WMN routing algorithm is analyzed in detail.In the minimum delay algorithm,each segment is calculated on the basis of considering inter-stream interference and intra-stream interference.The sub-path has available bandwidth and obtains the minimum delay route.In the interference-aware cooperative algorithm,the direct transmission and the coordinated transmission are considered,and the channel change overhead and gain are compared.The OLSR protocol in WMN is studied,and the underlying data structure and operation mechanism in OLSR protocol are analyzed.In view of the fact that the current MPR selection algorithm in OLSR protocol can not obtain the global optimal MPR set problem,two measurement methods are proposed,and the underlying protocol code is modified.The purpose of the improved scheme is to determine the most suitable by comparing the newly added metric size.MPR nodes to form an optimal MPR set.The experimental environment is simulated by NS3 simulation software.The simulation results show that the proposed two metric MPR selection algorithms reduce the number of control message broadcasts in WMN compared with the standard MPR algorithm,ie reduce the number of control packets and reduce the multi-radio multi-channel network.The occurrence of congestion has finally increased the total throughput of the network.The routing metrics in the routing table calculation in OLSR protocol are studied.After analyzing and analyzing the existing common routing metrics and standard OLSR metrics,based on the multi-RF multi-channel network environment,the metrics in the standard OLSR protocol are optimized.A routing metric based on channel change and channel quality,taking into account the impact of interface switching channels and load nodes in the network.The node model in NS3 is modified so that each radio interface has a set of physical layer,MAC layer,interface queue,and link layer components,so that each interface can work independently and realize the expansion of multiple radio interfaces.The routing metric proposed in this paper is compared with the simulation of hop count and WCETT metric.The results show that the new routing metric proposed in this paper has certain advantages in network throughput,end-to-end average delay and packet delivery rate.
