In recent years,a new group of backpackers,which is different from ordinary tourists,has quietly risen,and has become a new option for urban groups to escape from life.Backpackers belong to a subcultural group,compared with mainstream groups,their degree of social recognition is not high and the identity crisis always exists,and it always happens.Meanwhile,new media platforms,such as Weibo,WeChat,Tik Tok,Douban,etc.,which are supported by Internet technology,are rapidly increasing and developing.Due to the openness of new media platforms,the identity crisis of backpackers has been inadvertently amplified.However,backpackers realized the "empowerment" of new media to each user,and used the new media platform as a tool to build identity,and thus spread the backpacker subculture.This article starts with the construction and communication of backpacker's identity,regards backpackers as sub-cultural categories,and discusses them in the new media environment.The focus is to analyze the detailed process of backpacker's identity construction in combination with the characteristics of the new media environment,and New media communication characteristics presented in the process.This article refers to the text content materials of multiple users in the new media platform.At the same time,it uses case studies,unstructured interviews based on the new media platform,participatory observation and other research methods to understand the Chinese backpacker group from the first and third perspectives.Make this article richer and more intuitive.Therefore,the framework of this article is as follows:Chapter 1,explains the topic selection reason,analysis meaning,discussion content and analytical ways of this paper;Chapter 2 mainly defines new media,identity and other definitions,explaining the characteristics and users of new media in temporary China Situation,summarize the characteristics of the backpacker community in China,and then discuss how the new media environment promotes backpackers to seek identity;Chapter III discusses the special symbol content that backpackers have when they seek identity in the new media environment;Fourth Chapter,divides backpackers into"grassroots" and "opinion leaders" according to Li Kaifu's standards,discusses different ways to build identity,how to build identity within and outside groups,and helps backpackers solve group difficulties;The fifth chapter,combining the actual case analysis of the backpacker,examines the unique communication behavior of the backpacker to realize the identity process,starting from three aspects:the communication path,the communication platform and the content.Finally,to know the value and later reflections in the process of constructing and communicating backpackers identity.
