In the digital age,games have become one of the most powerful means of cultural export.How to guide people to understand the traditional culture of the Chinese nation and strengthen their cultural self-confidence have become the goal that requires every literary or artistic creator to pursue.The music VR game XING GE created by the author of this article is based on the Chinese national culture and takes the four Chinese national spirits put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core to reinterpret Chinese myths,legends,and historical stories.Through the Untiy3 D engine,with the model-making software 3DS MAX,the texture-creating software BODY PAINT,and the image-producing-and-processing software PHOTOSHOP,a Chinese-style virtual reality scene is constructed using VR technology.This paper analyzes the VR music game XING GE created by the author from three perspectives: creating conception,cultural expression,technology application.In terms of the content of the game,it is hoped that XING GE can stimulate players' desire to explore the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,and the sense of responsibility to inherit the Chinese national spirit,which may contribute to the inheritance and development of the Chinese culture.In terms of the form of the game,XING GE is an experimental attempt of Chinese-style music games on the VR platform.It is hoped that,whether praised or criticized,it can inspire other creators in the future.
