Research On Scene Design In Chinese Xianxia Theme Games

With the development of economy and technology,the game industry has developed rapidly in China,and games of different types,themes and styles have been born.Compared to other games,fairy tale games incorporate traditional Chinese culture.Since the Chinese Xian Xia game builds a world of Xian Xia that deviates from the ordinary reality,therefore,in the scene design,its pictures will incorporate elements of "Xian" and "Xia" to build a huge Xian Xia myth world.Chinese Xianxia culture has always been unique.Add Xianxia culture to the game design,designing a batch of national games with Chinese traditional culture is the future direction of the game industry.Some popular Chinese Xian Xia games are mostly role-playing games.According to different game modes,it can be divided into several categories: traditional role-playing games,action role-playing games,strategy role-playing games,and sandbox role-playing games.Most of them are traditional role-playing games.Different types of Xianxia games also have different emphasis in scene design.Since traditional role-playing games rely more on the plot,therefore,in the scene design,setting up the turn of the plot in the current spacetime background,thus giving players a strong emotional appeal.In the scene design practice of Chinese Xianxia games,some Chinese traditional culture can be integrated.Chinese traditional culture is broad and profound,in my graduation creation "Penglai Xian Xia Zhuan",research on scene design adds some Chinese elements: Chinese traditional green landscape painting technique style,Chinese traditional architectural style,and Chinese traditional architectural community style.At the same time,the principles of visuality,rationality,and gameplay should be followed in the scene design of Xianxia games.
