Microfluidic chip technology as the representative of MEMS,with less sample consumption,controllable liquid flow,analysis speed and other advantages,is playing an increasingly important role in chemistry,biology,engineering and physics etc..Micro mixer is an important component of microfluidic chip.The main research direction of micro mixer is passive and active micro mixer.Electroosmotic flow driven active micromixer with additional device,relative to other active hybrid means more convenient integration,and can be realized by changing the driving voltage and the optimization of hybrid alternating frequency,which has attracted wide attention.Some theoretical and experimental researches have made great progress,but there are also some problems,such as high voltage gradient micro mixing unit is easy to produce bubbles affect the micro mixing process,and heating is an important issue,in addition to more effectively improve the mixing efficiency is also a direction of further research.In this paper,COMSOL and multiphysics multi physics field coupling software are used to simulate different electroosmotic flow micro mixers.The influence of geometry channel and different zeta potential distribution on mixing efficiency is analyzed.Draw the following conclusions:(1)The mixing efficiency of micro mixers based on electroosmotic flow will be affected by geometry.The parameters of rectangular,sloping and circular arc unit structures are different,which have great influence on mixing efficiency.(2)The distribution of different Zeta potential will have an important influence on mixing efficiency.In different shapes,each zeta potential distribution will have different effects.Each mixing channel is proportional to the applied electric field strength.(3)The channel obtained in this paper has low voltage DC drive,simple channel structure and high mixing efficiency.Compared with AC electroosmosis,micro mixer has higher stability.
