Wireless sensor networks(WSNs)is a self-organized information system that implement information collection, information processing, and information transmission with sensor nodes. In recent years,WSNs presents new features such as the diversification of node functions, the complexity of application scenarios, the denseness of node distribution, and the dynamics. The existing WSNs networking strategy focuses on node energy consumption and network life, this thesis considers more about node communication ability, node load,real-time change of node performance and Qo S requirements. In order to meet the requirements brought by new application scenarios of Io T,this thesis proposes multi-layer clustering strategy for WSNs.The comprehensive capacity indices of nodes are applied to form real-time adaptive clustering adjustment algorithm, which can bring efficient and stable WSNs networking performance and meet the communication Qo S requirements, further extend the network service life. The contributions are listed as below:(1)By researching on different WSNs networking strategies, this thesis analyzes the relationship between topology and performance metrics, such as communication delay, communication hops, node load, and Qo S.WSNs networking structures are proposed based on multiple objectives to meet the requirements of different application scenes.(2)For the optimization of routing protocols in multi-layer clustered WSNs,this thesis proposes a routing method to maintain the load balance of network nodes and reduce energy consumption of the network.(3)By considering dynamic change of performance and historical information of the network, this thesis proposes adaptive WSNs networking adjustment method.By considering the node load, network Qo S,and communication hop count and state of the nodes, networking clustering mode including the cluster mode, cluster size and cluster head selection is dynamically adjusted. The experimental results show that the proposed dynamic adaptive clustering adjustment strategy based on capacity weight can effectively reduce the node load, reduce the network communication delay, and maintain the efficient and stable operation of the network. In summary, this thesis introduces optimal multi-layer WSNs topology model, analyzes the correlation between different topology and network performance to meet the new application requirements, such as the diversification of node functions, the complexity of application scenarios, the denseness of node distribution, and the dynamics.According to the historical information and real-time state change of the network, this thesis proposes the dynamic adaptive clustering adjustment strategy of multi-layer clustering to meet the Qo S requirements of application scenes, which can significantly improve the network performance. The conclusions of this thesis provide theoretical basis and practical application guidance for the realization of efficient and stable dynamic networking of WSNs in new Io T scenarios.
