With the large-scale popularization of the network,the number of network terminals increases explosively,and the network business becomes more diversified,which brings new challenges to the traditional multicast.SDN decouples the control and forwarding function of the network,and proposes a new programmable network architecture,which provides more possibilities for the optimization of multicast services.However,most of the current researches on SDN multicast are focused on the improvement of single domain multicast routing algorithm.In the SDN environment of multi domain cooperation,the design and implementation of a complete and controllable multicast mechanism that meets the current multicast service requirements are still lack of relevant research.This paper takes this opportunity to design and implement a controllable multicast mechanism suitable for SDN network environment.This paper studies the current SDN multicast routing algorithm,analyzes and summarizes it,discusses the improvement direction and method of SDN multicast routing algorithm compared with IP multicast,designs and implements the service driven multicast routing algorithm to calculate the multicast tree.Then from the overall demand of the controllable multicast routing mechanism,around the controllability of multicast,the multicast management function module is designed to control the multicast routing from the perspective of multicast mechanism,realizing the structure of the multicast routing table and the multicast management method;from the perspective of multicast source,the multicast registration function module is designed to control the multicast routing,realizing the processing of the multicast registration message;from the perspective of multicast user From the point of view,the service demand processing function module is designed to control the multicast routing,which realizes the function of receiving the instructions of multicast users and processing the service demand of users.In addition,the member message processing function module and multicast routing calculation module are designed and implemented to support the integrity of multicast function.The communication protocol and message format involved in each multicast function module are defined,and the multi domain network expansion scheme is determined.Finally,the multicast mechanism is simulated by virtual machine and SDN simulation platform,and the functions of the system are tested by using iperf and virtual interface provided by controller and simulation platform.The measurement scheme of end-to-end delay and routing convergence rate is designed,and the data is collected and compared during the multicast operation.The results show that the performance of SDN controllable multicast mechanism in function meets the design requirements;the function of service requirements affects the performance of multicast mechanism in performance.Compared with SDN multicast routing with the shortest path algorithm,the performance of SDN controllable multicast mechanism proposed in this paper has a certain gap in delay and routing convergence speed.
