In recent years,the emerging index modulation technology has attracted widespread attention and developed rapidly due to its great potential to meet the requirements of the fifth-generation mobile communication for high spectral efficiency and high energy efficiency.At present,the index modulation technology of one-dimensional is mainly studied by people,the research on index modulation technology of two-dimensional is still in initial stage.The research on index modulation of two-dimensional can not only enrich the existing index modulation technology,but also promote the theoretical development of index modulation technology of wireless communication,which has important scientific and practical significance.In order to improve the spectral efficiency and bit error rate(BER)performance of the spatial domain index modulation technology of one-dimensional,a new spatial code domain index modulation scheme of two-dimensional is proposed in this thesis,which is named as grouping space-code index modulation(GSCIM).This scheme combines the spatial modulation with the code index modulation,and uses the idea of grouping parallel transmission to further improve the spectral efficiency of the system.In addition,in order to solve the problem that the number of transmitting antennas in the GSCIM scheme is an integer power of two,this thesis also combines the generalized spatial modulation with the code index modulation to extend the GSCIM into grouping generalized space-code index modulation(GGSCIM).The analysis and simulation results show that the two schemes mentioned above can save a lot of index resources compared with the traditional spatial domain index modulation schemes with the same spectral efficiency,and they are best to provide a performance advantage of about 7d B.In order to further improve the BER performance of the GSCIM scheme,this thesis also combines antenna selection technology with it,and proposes a space-code index modulation scheme based on antenna selection,and the characteristics of different modulation symbols in the constellation are used to reduce the computational complexity of the traditional maximum likelihood estimation algorithm.The names of two schemes are respectively named as AS-GSCIM-P and AS-GSCIM-Q according to two different modes of modulation.The simulation results show that,with a same spectral efficiency,the two schemes mentioned above have a performance advantage of at least about 3.2d B compared with several existing spatial code domain index modulation schemes.In this thesis,the GSCIM scheme is proposed based on the idea of grouping parallel transmission and extended to the GGSCIM scheme,and the AS-GSCIM-P scheme and the AS-GSCIM-Q scheme are proposed based on the idea of antenna selection,and their BER performance is simulated and analyzed,which has certain reference significance for the development of the new space-code index modulation technology of multi-antenna system.
