In recent years,with the widespread application of electromagnetic waves and microwave technology in military and civilian applications,broadband phased array radar technology has also rapidly risen,and has demonstrated its efficient combat performance in all aspects.Because the broadband phased array system uses a broadband signal for transmission,and the use of a phase shifter will cause the system to be unable to overcome the limitations of the antenna array's aperture effect,the instantaneous large broadband signal will have a beam pointing accuracy deviation or dispersion effect during transmission.The good amplitude-frequency characteristics and continuity of the delay line can effectively solve this problem,so as to ensure that the instantaneous large signal can be transmitted without distortion.Therefore,the study of high-precision microwave broadband delay line technology under high-frequency characteristics has certain practical significance in improving the performance of phased array systems.First,the article makes a brief introduction and summary of the characteristics,applications and research status of modern and foreign countries.Second,it briefly describes the phased array antenna technology and transmission line theory,including transmission line equations,transmission line characteristic parameters,Coplanar waveguide index analysis,etc.Introduces the working principle of the digital switch delay line,including the selection of the switch,the working mode of the switch,and the analysis of key indicators such as the phase shift characteristics of the delay unit.At the same time,the EDA electromagnetic simulation software is used to lay out the length,spacing,line width and bend angle of the delay line.The meandering transmission line wiring is used to simulate the microstrip line delay line and the coplanar waveguide delay line.The advantages and disadvantages of the following two delay lines,and based on the simulation results of the delay unit has been studied in depth.Finally,according to the performance index requirements of the delay component in the broadband phased array system,the overall design of the component is carried out,and then the device selection and link calculation of the transceiver channel are carried out according to the various indicators of the component.Detailed simulation and verification,including joint connection slot simulation,port and gold wire matching optimization,amplifier phase linearity test,etc.Based on modern thin-film technology,combining microwave solidstate devices and microwave planar circuits,a Ku-band seven-bit broadband delay transceiver module was designed,and through the component processing,assembly and testing,the phase shift characteristics of the delay module in the phased array system were made further exploration and research.
