In recent years,satellite communication has developed rapidly,and satellite communication is superior to traditional ground communication in terms of coverage and reliability.As the carrier of satellite communication,satellite terminal has gradually come into people's vision,at present,the research on satellite terminals is still in its infancy,and how to reduce power consumption is a research hot-spot in the field of satellite terminal.Most of the existing researches on low power consumption of satellite terminal focus on the hardware level,this thesis mainly implements low power consumption of terminal in idle mode from the aspects of operation flow,hardware control and task processing.In the low power consumption mode,using the idea of DRX,the sleep algorithm is proposed to complete the reception of channel data,which reduces the power consumption caused by receiving redundant channel data.The realization of low power consumption of the terminal is mainly divided into two sub-modes: light sleep and deep sleep.In the light sleep mode,the physical layer of the terminal first changes the working state of some modules,and then executes paging detection and cell reselection tasks.When dealing with paging detection,the physical layer mainly completes the identification parameter matching between the terminal and the GSS to detect whether the terminal is being paged.When dealing with cell reselection,the physical layer mainly completes the measurement of the signal quality of the six adjacent cells to determine whether the terminal needs to switch the resident cell.At the same time,the frame and slot offset synchronization method is proposed to replace the original FCCH synchronization,this method is used to complete channel data synchronization after switching cell,it has been verified that the frame and slot offset synchronization method has shorter synchronization time and lower power consumption.In the deep sleep mode,the physical layer of the terminal will further achieve low power consumption of the working module,and at the same time,it needs to complete the sleep time calibration.Combined with the sleep algorithm,a light sleep and deep sleep cycle of 3:29 is formulated to minimize the power consumption of the terminal from the aspect of operation flow.Finally,after testing the power consumption data,the average power consumption of the terminal in the normal working mode is 2183.2m W,and the average power consumption in the low power consumption mode is 173.4m W.The design scheme significantly reduces the power consumption of the terminal and thepower consumption index meets the expected standards.The research results have certain guiding significance and reference value for the future research on low power consumption of satellite terminal.
