With the rapid development of internet applications,the traffic of network is exploding,which brings great pressure on the computing,transmission and storage of the network.In order to alleviate these pressures,scholars proposed Information-Centric Networking(ICN).ICN is a new future network architecture,it is used in various scenarios.Some scholars proposed to apply the Information-Centric Networking in the Internet of Things(Io T)to solve the problem of mass data distribution.ICN's in-network cache responds to user requests with the cached content in the node,which can speed up the data transmission of the Io T and improve the performance of the network.In order to achieve high cache hit rate,which content cached in node has become an issue that needs to be studied.To solve this problem,an ICN caching strategy for data characteristics of Io T(IDCI)has been proposed.According to the traffic model of the Internet of Things,the data of the Io T are divided into the data with strong time correlation and the data with weak time correlation,and the corresponding caching strategies are designed for the two kinds of data.(1)For the data with strong time correlation,a cache strategy based on the time dimension(CSTD)is proposed based on the data feature that the data value will be updated with the passage of time.The policy incorporates timestamp to pinpoint the user's request to the time dimension.According to the correlation of the data,CS-TD predicts the value of data that generated in the future,it can satisfy the user's request.At the same time,the content popularity and the request probability are combined to make a cache decision on the content.Simulation validates the effectiveness of the CS-TD.(2)The occurrence of events will cause the data with weak time correlation to be updated.Therefore,a caching strategy based on event trigger frequency(CS-ETF)is proposed.The policy predicts the event trigger frequency of the data at the content source and calculates the popularity of the content at the node.Then CS-ETF proposed a probability cache function based on the event trigger frequency and the content popularity.Finally,the performance of the CS-ETF is evaluated by simulation.(3)ICN caching strategy for data characteristics of the Io T is proposed.The policy changes the structure of the packet so that the nodes can identify the type of data and choose the appropriate cache policy to make the cache decision.It greatly improves the cache hit ratio.Finally,the experimental simulation shows that the IDCI can effectively improve the cache hit ratio,reduce the number of hops by users to obtain content and provide users with better service quality.
