Continuous Phase Modulation(CPM)is a phase-continuous,bandwidth-efficient and envelope-intensive modulation method that has great advantages in the field of remote measurement and control.Multi-h CPM is a kind of CPM that contains multiple modulation indices that vary cyclically over time,which increases the power efficiency while inheriting the advantages of CPM.The coded Multi-h CPM system,which combines channel coding with Multi-h CPM,can further increase the power efficiency of the signal.The detection of coded Multi-h CPM system is one of the key technologies to realise the reception with high speed and reliability.This paper focuses on the detection technology of the coded Multi-h CPM system and its high-speed FPGA implementation,and has achieved the following main research results:1.Based on the definition of Multi-h CPM signal,the signal characteristics of Multi-h CPM are analyzed,including its power efficiency and spectral efficiency.It provides a reference for the parameter selection of Multi-h CPM in different application scenarios.2.For the high complexity problem of Multi-h CPM signal demodulation,the existing Multi-h CPM low complexity demodulation is investigated,and a combined low complexity demodulation scheme suitable for high bit rate Multi-h CPM system is proposed.In addition,demodulation scheme with the near-optimal performance is selected over channels with phase noise or residual carrier frequency offset.3.Investigate the existing coded Multi-h CPM system and select the coded Multi-h CPM solution that can be implemented under existing hardware conditions.A soft input soft output algorithm which is suitable for multi-ary partial response Multi-h CPM and requires as low a delay as possible for high-rate transmission application scenarios is proposed.A practical method for frame synchronization detection of coded CPM systems is also proposed.4.Design a high-rate Coded Multi-h CPM IF receiver and implement its core modules-IF digital receiver module,frame synchronization detection module and soft decoder,which requires bit rate to reach 60 Mbps.In order to suit the channel over residual carrier frequency offset and phase noise,we design a Multi-h CPM non-coherent detection module,the performance of which is close to the optimal. |
