Application Of Data Mining Technology In The Library Management Of Primary And Middle Schools

The rapid development of the Internet makes information appear fragmented and explosive.Although information technology brings great convenience to our study,work,life and other aspects,how to effectively use information resources in a mass of information has become a hot issue.In response to the national call,primary and secondary schools in China have achieved fruitful results in the construction of libraries,but there are still deficiencies in the application of big data technology.The purpose of this dissertation is to realize the personalized books recommend services and to meet the personalized requirements library of current students and staff in library management through the data mining technology.It will be helpful to further improve the technical application level of the information system of primary and secondary school libraries,and has important research significance to deepen the reform of information technology.Based on the above application background,this thesis investigated,analyzed and summarized the current management of borrowing and recommendation of books in primary and secondary schools.Based on personal work experience and relevant techniques including data mining and personalized recommendation,this thesis conducted requirement analysis,overall architecture design,functional module design,workflow design and database design of personalized recommendation system for primary and secondary school books.According to the characteristics of reader attributes in primary and secondary school libraries,the functional module of the system not only includes personalized recommended books and books list,but also includes principal recommended books and books list,borrowing list and new book recommendation list,so as to realize rich and diverse recommended books list.This thesis implemented user-based and item-based collaborative filtering recommendation algorithms and matrix decomposition recommendation algorithm.Besides this thesis also analyzed the effects of recommended algorithms based on experimental results,and finally chose the algorithm with the best effect to realize the personalized book recommendation prototype system and integrate the recommendation system into the school library management system,also tested the function and performance of the system.
