The Design And Implementation Of The Book Recommendation System Based On Data Mining

Nowadays,along with the rapid development of internet technology and database technology,also with the application of automation management system,which is making the resources of digital library richer,and it also accumulated a lot of resources of history for readers to access the data.At present,with the huge amount resource,majority of digital library can’t provide information that the users are interested in,even it is very important.The data mining technology can be very used,with it the large data could be managed scientifically,and we can service readers better.In the process of investigating various library individualized book recommendation service of the domestic and foreign,author found that the practice research of book recommendation service is relatively small,especially the research that combination between readers’ information demand and book recommendation service is even rare.Therefore,the author hope that this study is not only to explore the needs of users,but also to play a guiding role of individualized library book recommendation service in university library.College libraries,which has the advanced modern information equipment,perfect management system and service system,as well as the specific and relatively stable user,which is more suitable for carrying out the research of the Individualized book recommendation service.First of all,we established a model of individualized book recommendation system,and divided it into three structures,which included the user layer,the system function layer and the database layer.We also designed the function modules of the user layer and the system function layer.Then we carried out the data mining of the borrowed record that came from the library of the Harbin Medical University Daqing Campus.According to clustering analysis mining,the readers were divided into three groups,then we use association analysis mining to mine the relationship between the same group with reading characteristics.The same books was recommended to the reader who was in the same group with Email,and the result was satisfied.Application data mining in the university library,it not only can improve the utilization of the literature resources,but also can improve the library service mode,and the service level,and the research of the book recommendation system library service system has a very broad prospects of development.
