Face recognition belongs to the intersection of computer vision and pattern recognition,and is widely used in various disciplines.Generally,human faces also have unique biological characteristics like human genes and fingerprints.Therefore,it can be used in biometric technology for identifying people based on facial feature information.Since the 1990 s,face recognition technology has not only been widely used in security departments,but also gradually emerged in commercial applications.As part of human feature recognition,the difference between face recognition and other human feature recognition is that the subject does not need to directly contact the test instrument,and the face recognition system can actively obtain the subject without being perceived by the subject.It uses facial feature information to identify the subject's identity conveniently,quickly and accurately.It can be seen that face recognition is an effective tool for identifying identities,and this technology can be used in any field that requires identity authentication.Therefore,the emergence of the attendance system based on face recognition compensates the shortcomings of the complicated operation and low efficiency of the traditional attendance methods.Based on deep learning face recognition technology and convolutional neural network training model,this thesis designs and implements a attendance system based on face recognition which is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises.First,it started from the research background and significance of face recognition,introduced the basic concepts,development stages and basic methods of face recognition technology,analyzed the shortcomings of traditional attendance methods,and briefly introduced the development history and research results of face recognition technology.Then the main methods of face detection,image preprocessing and face recognition are introduced in detail,and the basic principles of the selected algorithm in this paper analyzed.Then,according to the various requirements of the attendance system in terms of function and performance,the thesis designed the software architecture,the user interface and system function.In addition,it introduced the functional framework of the attendance system,the deep learning framework based on Tensorflow and database design.Finally,the face detection,face recognition and database are analyzed,and the whole function and test content of the system introduced,the final GUI interface was displayed.
