With the improvement of the maneuvering speed of the aircraft and all kinds of weapon equipment,radar,as the "eye" in the battlefield,is facing more and more difficult challenges.MIMO radar is a new type of radar system.Compared with traditional phased array,it has unique development advantages and prospects.However,if the platform has high-speed movement,it will have complex influence and interference on the MIMO radar,for example,it will reduce the signal performance and cause the distortion of the pattern,which will lead to the degradation of the detection performance of the radar.Therefore,for the MIMO Radar under the high-speed movement platform,it needs to compensate in the space,time and frequency domain to ensure its applicability.In this paper,the optimization design of MIMO radar signal,the compensation of MIMO radar transmitting pattern and the compensation of range Doppler motion are studied.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.The basic working principle of MIMO radar is studied,and the difference between MIMO radar and traditional phased array is compared.Then the basic concept of radar fuzzy function is introduced.The definition expression and physical meaning of velocity fuzzy function and range fuzzy function are given respectively,and the MIMO array model is constructed.2.The design and optimization method of MIMO radar transmitting signal waveform is studied.The basic requirements and evaluation indexes of MIMO radar transmitting signal are introduced and analyzed.The transmitting signal is iteratively optimized by using genetic algorithm.The performance and change rule of transmitting signal under different code length and coding mode are studied by constructing cost function and setting various parameters.3.The joint compensation of transmitting signal and spatial domain is studied.The general transmitting beam pattern of MIMO radar is constructed by using the covariance matrix of transmitting signal and the response vector of array.If the platform has high-speed movement,the performance of transmitting signal of MIMO radar and the influence on the transmitting beam pattern are analyzed.The model is built and studied The method of preprocessing the transmitting signal to compensate the distortion of the transmitting pattern is proposed,and the compensation effect is evaluated by the root mean square error.4.The cross-resolution unit compensation method of MIMO radar is studied.The phenomenon that the target inevitably moves across the radar resolution unit in the process of correlation accumulation of MIMO radar is analyzed.The phenomenon that the radar echo phase moves across the range Doppler unit is studied.Several compensation algorithms are introduced for the moving across the range unit and the moving across the Doppler unit,respectively a range Doppler compensation method based on the joint processing of transmitting and receiving for the moving platform is proposed.The simulation results are given and verified by simulation.
