In this paper,the response spectrum of HgCdTe infrared focal plane detector is studied,and the factors affecting the response spectrum are discussed.For the quantitative application of response spectrum,the influence of the detector structure on the incident light transmission process was studied,and the effect of surface recombination on the quantum efficiency was studied.The main research contents are as follows:1?The measurement method of the response spectrum of the infrared detector is introduced.The process of measuring the response spectrum using a Fourier transform spectrometer is theoretically simulated.The response spectrum of short-wave Si substrate detectors,medium-wave Si substrate detectors,and short-wave Cd Zn Te substrate detectors were compared.The factors affecting the shape of the response spectra were analyzed.2?According to the multilayer structure of the HgCdTe infrared focal plane detector in the back-illuminated mode,the effects of the detector on the light transmission process were calculated using a uniform dielectric film model and a multibeam interference model,respectively.The influence of surface recombination on quantum efficiency was calculated quantitatively from the spect of energy band.A method for determining the surface potential using MIS structure was proposed.Combined with the carrier diffusion model,a quantitative response spectrum design method was proposed.3?A response spectrum design software was produced.The software was used to simulate the influence of the thin film on the light field,the reduction of the quantum efficiency caused by surface recombination,and the initial position of photogenerated carriers in HgCdTe.Finally,the response spectrum of the short-wave Si substrate detector was simulated,which was in good agreement with the test results.
