With the advent of SDN network architecture,more and more network architectures change from distributed control to centralized control mode.The emergence of SDN network architecture enhances the flexibility,scalability and programmability of the network,makes the deployment of the network more convenient and intelligent,and makes the management of network traffic control easier.SDN architecture has become the main research direction of next-generation Internet.However,as the SDN network becomes larger and larger,it is more and more difficult for SDN controllers to indirectly control the status of each forwarding node in the network through the Open Flow protocol.Especially in the face of network failure repair scenario,this drawback is particularly prominent.In order to overcome the shortcomings of SDN controllers in the flexibility and real-time of flow control in large-scale SDN networks,the concept of SR segment routing is proposed by IETF,that is,the node specifies the path for the flow.This paper mainly studies the SRv6 forwarding framework under the SDN,namely the SDN-SRv6 model.The main work and innovations include:1.Aiming at this forwarding framework,this paper solves the key problems of the two components.One is that the control layer sends down the SR flow table in the data forwarding layer,encapsulating the SR flow table information by extending the action value in the FlowMod message.Another problem is how to implement packet forwarding by SR routing in the data forwarding layer.This framework is implemented by encapsulating an SR header in the IP extended header field with IPv6 packets as Ingress nodes of traffic.2.The detailed design plan is put forward.In order to implement this forwarding framework,this paper redefines the packet format of SRv6 forwarding mode,and explains the data structure and interface needed to implement this framework in detail.In addition,aiming at the introduction of SR routing and forwarding mode,this paper points out a resource overhead problem of data forwarding layer,and proposes a compression method to compress IPv6 packets to solve this problem.3.Finally,based on the Fast programmable forwarding platform,the verification experiment in SDN network is completed.In the experiment,the frame controller bypasses the link fault by controlling the traffic,and makes the path converge again.It is verified that the SR routing and forwarding mode can improve the real-time performance of SDN controller and reduce the complexity of the controller.In summary,in order to solve the problem of real-time control in traditional controllers,this paper proposes a SRv6 forwarding architecture under SDN controller,which is called SDN-SRv6 model,and carries out in-depth research.The framework is implemented on a real-time forwarding platform.The research successfully studies the efficient control and forwarding mode under SDN.It has important reference value.
