In the process of film production,the uniformity of film thickness is an important quality index.It should be tested and adjusted in real time during film production.At present,many domestic and foreign film manufacturers are using X-ray thickness measurement system(TMS)to measure the film thickness.However,there are two problems in the current X-ray TMSs in the market: firstly,most of these TMSs adopt MPI,RS232 and other communication modes with short distance and speed;secondly,In the monitoring software,most of these systems are simply to display the current thickness data,and there is no multi angle statistical analysis of the thickness data.In view of the above problems,this dissertation designs a set of X-ray thickness measurement system which can effectively solve these problems.Firstly,SIMATIC S7-1200 PLC with network communication module is selected as the core control unit of the slave computer in the TMS.In the monitoring software of master computer,we developed a network server based on IOCP(input / output completion port).In the communication between the master and slave computers,we adopt the C / S structure,regard the slave computer as the client,the monitoring software of the master computer as the server,and communicate with the master computer through the PROFINET network communication interface of S7-1200 PLC,so that we can solve the problem of communication distance and speed through the characteristics of large bandwidth and long distance of network transmission.Secondly,in the monitor software of the TMS designed in this project,through the investigation of the actual demand of the monitor software for the film production enterprises,the monitoring software of the TMS can carry out the data statistics from many different angles and display it with graphics.In the actual use of the system,the staff of the film production enterprise can choose to observe the statistical results of the thickness data from the bar profile,the multi bar profile,the curve profile,the trend profile,the distribution profile and the fixed-point profile in the monitoring software,which provides great convenience for the managers of the film production enterprise to understand the production status.In this dissertation,firstly,the research background and the research status at home and abroad are introduced.Then,the working principle of the TMS,the monitor software of master computer and the slave computer are analyzed and designed respectively.Finally,the specific performance of the TMS is tested and the advantages of the system are summarized.At present,the TMS designed by this project has been put into trial operation on the PVC film production line of a film production enterprise,which shows that the TMS designed by this project can meet the requirements of the film production enterprise for the thickness measurement system,reduce the cost for the film production of the enterprise,and improve the product quality.
