With more and more attention paid to robot education,the corresponding educational intelligent hardware has become an indispensable teaching facility.In this context,the desktop manipulator with the advantages of small size and low cost has become the first product in the field of robotics science and education for the majority of users.Different from the traditional industrial products,the desktop manipulator has the function of being able to move.The relevant parts are both structure and form,so its form design and structure design need to be combined more closely.In this case,for designers,the original design method will no longer meet the design requirements of desktop manipulator.Based on the product design itself,this topic hopes to help relevant scholars and enterprises to clarify the context of the problem and formulate reasonable strategies to design excellent desktop manipulator products through the way of relevance design.In this paper,the product design of desktop manipulator is taken as the research object.Firstly,the paper studies the design methods of desktop manipulator and relevance,then constructs the relevance of product form and structure and puts forward the relevant design specifications.Then,the design methods of existing products and enterprises are investigated,and the relevance design method is clearly applied to the product design of desktop manipulator The necessity of.Next,the function of the desktop manipulator is analyzed,and its structure is analyzed by introducing the concept of the desktop manipulator split.Then,the expression method of structure-based shape design and the adjustment method of structure-based design are proposed.The prototype of product form is divided into some stages,and the practical operation mode in each stage is clarified.Then,the quantitative constraints are established by using the theory of visual dynamics,and the product semantics are controlled within a reasonable range,so as to put forward specific and rational design opinions.There are great differences between industrial designers and structural engineers in their knowledge reserve and expression.In order to make them communicate smoothly and effectively and inspire each other in their work,this paper analyzes the interview results,obtains the current participation of form design and structural design in the design process of relevant products,summarizes the corresponding problems,and finally puts forward the specific relevance The design process and the working methods of industrial designers and structural engineers solve the key problems in the realization of the relevance design of the product form and structure of desktop manipulator.In order to further verify the feasibility of the application of relevance design method in the design activities of desktop manipulator,I participated in the actual design project of desktop manipulator,modified and applied the existing relevance design method,completed the product design scheme of desktop manipulator that meets the requirements,and significantly improved the efficiency of collaborative work between industrial designers and structural engineers.It provides a new idea for related scholars in the research of design methods of desktop manipulator,and provides a reference for enterprises to meet the challenges of related product design.
