Rumor is an ancient phenomenon of information dissemination,which plays an important role in the long history of human beings.The proliferation of corporate network rumors on social media has a huge impact on modern enterprises.Starting from the background of the social media era,discuss the characteristics of corporate network rumors in the social media era,and analyze its impact on the enterprise.Combining actual cases,discuss the current status of corporate network rumors,analyze the pros and cons of corporate network rumors,and summarize the deficiencies.It analyzes the causes of corporate network rumors and provides references and suggestions for the research and management of corporate network rumors.First,the study combed the definitions and characteristics of rumors and online rumors,and defined the connotation of corporate online rumors.Then,based on the analysis of the mechanism of the spread of corporate network rumors as a logical starting point,a systematic study of its characteristics reflected in social media is conducted.Secondly,research and analyze the influence of the spread of corporate network rumors.Combining the cases of "Starbucks Coffee Carcinogenic Incident" and "Hongmao Liquor Incident" to discuss the status quo of corporate network rumors,it is found that companies have problems with network rumors,such as weak awareness,insufficient methods,and external environment.At last,discusses the causes of corporate network rumors,including the promotion of social attributes,economic interests,and social emotions.In the era of social media,the diversified means of communication,the enhancement of the discourse rights of the main body of communication,and the “magnifying glass” effect of online media have made the response to corporate online rumors more challenging.In the era of social media,companies need to strengthen awareness management to deal with online rumors,keep a high degree of vigilance against false information,and actively face it.In terms of response mechanisms,establish an early warning mechanism for corporate network rumors,a control mechanism for corporate network rumors,and a preventive mechanism for corporate network rumors.The influence of rumors is strengthened;deepening the disclosure of corporate information,we must use social media to publish information in a timely manner,introduce new technologies to strengthen information control,and companies join forces to form industry self-government organizations and build professional rumors platforms and websites.
