In recent years,5G,which is one of the most popular technology, has aroused heated discussion. The filter be used to select the specified signal from a specific frequency band and suppress the interference signal at the same time.It is a common component in communication systems. For example,in modern mobile phones, there are almost more than 50 RF filters. The importance of filters is self-evident with the gradual increase in the frequency of radio frequency signals, the miniaturization and weight reduction of microwave devices is an inevitable development trend. The traditional mechanical processing techniques(such as Computerized Numerically Controlled(CNC))that are difficult to process are more complicated.Device.In addition, the all-metal waveguide device is heavy, which is not conducive to applications in some areas with strict weight requirements, such as aircraft and spacecraft. As an additive manufacturing process, compared with the traditional CNC process,3D printing technology not only has higher processing accuracy, but also can produce high-performance waveguide devices with small size, and because the printing materials used in this technology are non-metallic materials, printing The resulting device is also lighter in weight, which is of great significance for the lightweight of the device.Based on 3D printing technology, this thesis focuses on designing three kinds of waveguide filters, that is,Ka-band hemispherical band-pass filter,hemi-ellipsoidal bandpass filter and Ku-band waveguide low-pass filter. The Stereolithography(SLA)process in the 3D printing technology was used, and finally the test and analysis were completed. The research content arrangement of this thesis is mainly divided into the following five parts. The first chapter mainly explains the importance of the filter in the communication system and through the case analysis, shows the application of 3D printing technology in the microwave field;the second chapter is the theoretical chapter, analyzes the importance of the microwave network through the two-port network Parameters, and analyze the design theory of the filter through frequency conversion and K / J invert converter;Chapter 3 describes the development of 3D printing technology. It should be noted that 3D printing technology is a general term for some additive manufacturing processes,so this chapter details introduce the classification of 3D printing and their respective principles, and briefly introduce the surface metallization. The fourth chapter mainly introduces the process of designing the Ku-band hemispherical band-pass filter,Ka-band hemi-ellipsoidal band-pass filter and Ku-band waveguide low-pass filter;the fifth chapter is a summary of the full text, explains the feasibility of applying 3D technology to the processing of waveguide filters, and points out the direction of subsequent research work.
