The development of wireless communication makes people's life more and more convenient.At the same time,people have much higher requirements for wireless communication.With larger bandwidth,higher spatial resolution,more compact system and less delay,high frequency signal,especially millimeter wave,has become the focus of the next generation communication.Channel modeling is the most direct way to describe the relationship between output and input of signal.Based on channel modeling,this paper combines the 5GHz signal currently used in Wi-Fi with 31 GHz and 90 GHz signals to carry out airport project and indoor corridor project for complementing the current channel modeling database.The airport project,part of a long-term collaboration between our laboratory and NASA,complements the parameters of ground-to-ground communications in the airport environment,and it completes tests to maintain the special environment of the hangar for the first time.After the two test projects,some problems of our laboratory test projects are exposed.Most of works,such as data recording and mobile antenna,are finished manually,which not only cause cumbersome procedures,but also inaccurate datum.Accordingly,I designed a remote control system project: the works of data recording and antenna moving are completed by LabVIEW software and linear track and other equipment automatically,which greatly improve the test efficiency and data accuracy of the project.On the premise that a large number of accurate datum can be obtained,based on the new requirements of 5G communication,that is,with the except of the requirement of faster transmission rate,super reliable communication is also required to complete Virtual Reality,Unmanned Vehicle,Remote Operation and other projects.On the condition of existing equipment and current environment of the laboratory,a test project of Ultra Reliable Communication(URC)is designed and completed by use 5.7GHz antenna.The final test results provide a reference for the actual data of URC.The basic requirements of the four projects in this paper are realized.However,due to the limitation of experimental environment and experimental equipment as well as the lack of project experience,there is still room for improvement in airport test projects and laboratory test projects.
